Deployment Strategist

Our founders bring deep operational and technical expertise from some of the world's leading fintech and technology organisations.
We are looking for a Deployment Strategist who combines the strategic horsepower of an MBB-caliber consultant with the executional instincts needed to drive AI transformation in complex client environments. You will lead client engagements from scoping through delivery, own work streams across strategy and implementation, and play a pivotal role in shaping how Calibrax deploys AI at scale. This role is calibrated for someone operating at Project Lead or Engagement Manager level.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a structured thinker who thrives in complex, ambiguous environments. You bring a skilled consultant approach to problem-solving, issue trees, hypothesis-led thinking, crisp slide narratives, but you're not wedded to process for its own sake. You know when to move fast and when to go deep.
You're commercially wired. You understand how clients measure success, how decisions get made inside large organisations, and how to build relationships that go beyond the deliverable. You've managed senior stakeholders before and you know how to hold the room.
You have genuine curiosity about AI and technology. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be fluent enough to credibly advise on AI strategy, challenge technical assumptions, and connect business problems to AI solutions. You want to understand what's actually being built, not just what's in the deck.
MUST HAVES
3–6 years at an MBB or Tier-1 strategy/technology consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture Strategy, Kearney, or equivalent)
Experience leading client engagements or significant work streams with limited supervision
Strong analytical and communication skills, you produce executive-ready outputs and can present to C-suite
Demonstrated exposure to technology, digital transformation, or AI strategy projects
High degree of commercial acumen and ability to manage client relationships
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup-scale environment with lean resourcing
